Board of Directors Special Meeting
April 22, 2010
The Board of Directors meeting was held Thursday, April 22, 2010, in the E-clubhouse.
The President called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.
The Secretary called the roll.
Present were Mrs. Bruno, Ms. Cooney, Ms. Haase, Mrs. Harris, Mr. Kirk, Ms. Lawrence, Mrs. Lazor, Mrs. Sullivan and Mrs. White
Also present was Mr. Kimble, Community Manager and Ms. O’Neil, Director of Administration.
POOLS
There will be no recommendations made regarding the bathhouses at the pool. Extensive renovations are necessary and it is possible that building a new bathhouse would be a more cost effective option. This will be addressed after the season. The waterlines have been repaired and the cost estimates were verified with the companies that provided them. Additionally the concrete patio will be expanded since we have contractors in to do extensive concrete work.

FINE STRUCTURE
The fine structure recommendations will be made at the May Board meeting.
LIAISONS
Mrs. Bruno will step down from her position as liaison of the Building and Architecture Committee. It was the consensus of the Board to appoint Mr. Sullivan as the liaison.
Mrs. White will step down from her position as the liaison of the Communications Committee (which handles the brunch bunch). It was the consensus of the Board to appoint Ms. Lawrence as the liaison.
MEMBER COMMENT
A period for member comment was held for members to make comments to the Board.

Motion Apr10-1S made by Bernadette Bruno, seconded by Phyllis Haase, to approve proposal from Pocono Pool and Spa dated April 16, 2010, to supply and install 4,600 square feet of concrete deck around the existing H Pool, including labor, stone placement and steel reinforcement. Cost of $33,260 to come from capital replacement.

Motion Apr10-2S made by Phyllis Haase, seconded by Janet Harris, to approve proposal from Pocono Pool and Spa dated April 16, 2010, to supply and install backer rod, supply and install deck drain, supply and install concrete coping and supply and install waterproof and bonding material to coping. Cost of $14,960 to come from capital replacement.
