Members in Attendance: Cindy DiPasquale – Chairperson Norma Padilla Riss – Liaison Dave Hallberg – IT Tech Eleanor Massaro Natalia Lazor Cindy Rametta Cathi Armanini Mission Statement: The mission of the Community Information Committee is to provide prompt, accurate and effective information through all forms of media available to the community via the Newspaper, Website, Channel 80 and the Information phone line. 1.Discussed reinstatement of the Newspaper Committee. 2.Channel 80: slate consistency, timing needs to be adjusted. 3.Information phone line and the need to have it always updated. 4.Minutes for subcommittees. Should subcommittees have individual minutes or go under the CIC headings. Chairperson will have more discussion with PM regarding this matter. 5. The website suggestion to have separate links under the CIC for the three subcommittees. Committee reports given by Newspaper, Website and Channel 80. 1.Discussed letter sent to newspaper for committee input. Members agreed to publish minus the section asking for donations. 2.Census 2010, the committee will try and find out when they will be in our area. What type of ID they will have and what questions they will ask. 3.Thank you to be issued to all the people who donated to the kennel. 4.Cold and Flu flyer for Newspaper to be published. 5.Discussion regarding the importance of having an IT tech person at our meetings and the importance of communication. (CAI booklet) 6.Breakdown of amenities, those included in Dues and those that must be paid for. 7.CIC mission statement must include all three subcommittees of CIC. 8.Expense statement to be put on website and reference on where to find on Channel 80 and newspaper. 9.Request made to put members names who attend the website meetings on CIC minutes to keep track of attendance. 10.Security to be listed as Public Safety. 1. Protocol discussion took place regarding submission of requests. 2. All items will be submitted to Admin. through Chairperson of CIC to stop congestion of repeat E-mails. 3. Discussed Chairpersons meeting with PM. 4. CAI Seminar 5. Mission statement for CIC. Will be combined with statements from all three sub-committees. Requests sent to all sub-committee chairs. Will be finalized at next CIC meeting. 6. Members contributed comments for all sub-committees and ideas on what should be added or changed. 7. Website will keep their meetings as workshops. Items that need to be approved will be given to Liaison to obtain approval. 8. Newspaper will continue their standing protocol. 9. As per discussion with PM, final approval on all problems will be given to him and he will have final say. 10. Requested by committee members that IT Tech is present for the duration of all meetings.

Cindy DiPasquale. 3.Appointment of new Co-Chair for Channel 80, Cindy Rametta. 4.Mention of closedown of website bulletin board and reason. Discussion followed. 5.New Chairperson advised of meeting with PM to be followed by report to committee at next meeting. 6.Chairperson asked for printout of CIC members and E-mail addresses. 7.CIC meeting will return to Wednesdays, 1st week of month.
