BUILDING AND ARCHITECTURE CONTROL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES DECEMBER 3RD, 2011
I.Call to Order Clarence Windbish called to order the meeting of the Building and Architecture Control Committee at 10:18 am on Saturday December 3rd, 2011 at the Community Room of A Pocono Country Place. II.in Attendance: The following committee members were present: Mr. Robert Kirk, Mrs. Carolyn Waugh, Mr. Donald Sullivan, Mr. James Tucker and Mr. Augustine DeJesus. Liaison: Mr. Clarence Windbish B&ACC Secretary Anna DeJesus III.New Business The new agenda was presented to all members who included the introduction of new members as well as previous members. The members welcome the new appointed Liaison Mr. Clarence Windbish. A motion was made by Mr. Windbish to conduct all B&A meetings on the First Saturday of each month at 11:00am; all members voted in favor of the new schedule. Mr. Windbish discussed the importance of following rules of the code of conduct set by Association and will have the forms ready for signature at the next meeting. He also discussed the functions of the B&A committee members and offered and insight of what will be expected of them. The members asked questions about the changes that have been made since the last B&A committee was in place. Mr. Windbish explained that the previous committees were not authorized to do the inspections and other duties assigned at that time, therefore changes were made to comply with the current bylaws of the Association. He also promised the committee members to bring all questions to the Board of Directors and he will try to get their questions answered by the next meeting. Discussion was held referring to abandoned properties, unsightly properties, dangerous trees, fencing, unsafe structures, the K-Club house, the addressing of the community and the signage. It was agreed by Mr. Windbish that all concerns will be discussed during the next meetings and he will bring it to the attention of the Board of Directors for further input on how the committee should proceed on these issues. The members also discussed the poor lighting for the motorist at the entrance of the Main gate and made suggestions on how it can be corrected in the future.
