Coolbaugh Township Swipe Card
Recycling swipe cards are now available at the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Center located at 5550 Memorial Boulevard, Tobyhanna, PA. They can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Please bring with you proof of residency in Coolbaugh Township (driver’s license, tax bill, utility bill, etc.) in order to obtain card. The card is good for four (4) free drop-offs annually at the recycling center and twelve (12) free scoops of double shredded mulch annually from the recycling center, located at 242 Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna, PA.
Any item containing Freon will be charged a $30 draining/disposal fee unless owner presents a Certificate of Freon Disposal to the Township. This is not covered by the swipe card. The initial card is free, but a replacement card fee of $25 will be charged for lost or damaged cards. The recycling program will begin on January 4, 2010. The center will be open according to the attached schedule, with the fees applicable after your fourth drop-off and twelfth scoop of mulch. Right Of Way Trimming
Our Maintenance Department will be doing Right Of Way trimming in J, K & L. That means they will be trimming trees and bushes where they will interfere with power lines and roadway intersection visibility .
